Dear Friends,
Welcome to week 5! This is an exciting 57 minute class as we explore a few challenging poses, like Half Moon and Dolphin pose. We are still moving with control and mindfulness, through all the poses.
We take some time at the beginning of class to continue to practice Alternate Nostril Breathing. I love this breathing technique to re-balance the mind and body, especially when feeling stressed or rushed.
As always, listen to your body and move with-in your unique abilities.
Modifications: keep knees down in your pikes, planks, and lunges. Also, if you have tight shoulders, Dolphin pose will be too challenging. Options are to bring your knees in under your hips. Or perform a plank instead of being on your elbows.
We need 2 blocks for this class, one on either end of your mat.
