Dear Friends,
Welcome to week 4! This is an exciting 60 minute class as we explore a few challenging poses, like Bound Side Angle pose and King Arthur pose. We are still moving with control and mindfulness, through all the poses.
We take some time at the beginning of class to practice Alternate Nostril Breathing. I love this breathing technique to re-balance the mind and body, especially when feeling stressed or rushed.
We play with binding into Triangle, Lunge 2, Revolved Lunge, and in Side Angle. As always, listen to your body and move with-in your unique abilities.
Modifications: keep knees down in your pikes, planks, and lunges. Also, if you have knee pain, please don't lift shin up in King Arthur pose.
We definitely need a strap for this week's class. And 1 block.
I enjoyed some sun a couple of days before filming, which is why I have super red shoulders!
